This year’s event is part of the Holiday Harmony presentation which includes KC Trombone Christmas, KC Horn Club and Ad Astra Youth Chamber Orchestra of Kansas City.  The event will be held as part of the GloWild Festival at the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium! All in benefit for Band of Angels! Proceeds from your $15 registration fee will help benefit this amazing program. (www.bandofangels.org).

All registered performers will receive FREE Admission to the KC Zoo GloWild Event!

3:00pm   Check-in/Registration ($15) – North Ticket Office Entrance

3:45pm   Rehearsal – Zoo Auditorium (Inside building behind ticket office.)

6:00pm   Concert – Helzberg Penguin Plaza

  5. DISCOUNTED TICKETS TO THE ZOO’S GLOW WILD EVENT: Family members of all performers can purchase discounted tickets to Zoo Glo Wild on the day of Trombone Christmas 12/14/24. Tickets are discounted and can be purchased for $15 at the Zoo ticket office by mentioning Trombone Christmas and Band of Angels.

  7. DECORATING CONTEST: Have fun! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
  8. MUSIC BOOKS: Books can be purchased here: http://trombonechristmas.org/store/music-books/  Please choose the “shipping” option.  The “pick-up” option is only available for the California location of Trombone Christmas. Please order BEFORE Thanksgiving to ensure delivery in time for Trombone Christmas-Kansas City.
  9. If you need a book, there should be many willing to share. We will also have a limited supply of “loaner” books. Please bring your photo ID/Driver’s License if you would like to check out a book for the rehearsal and performance.  IMPORTANT:  For the most part, the music is not difficult, however the ranges of the first- and second-part books can be challenging.  Please check the ranges on the online prior to your arrival.   10. CASES: Can be left in rehearsal room.
  11. PLAYLIST: List will be mailed to you closer to Trombone Christmas
